We’ve seen with so many sequels how the desire to cash in on nostalgia can go wrong.
But in 2024, Burton finally took the risk after 36 years.
It paid off in more ways than one.
Legacy sequels often have good weekends, as a curious public turns out, only to drop off significantly.
