That’s part of what makes Adar such a watchable character throughoutboth Sam Hazeldine andJoseph Mawle’s portrayals.

However, Adar has made a terrible miscalculation by misreading Sauron’s plan and not trusting Galadriel’s instincts.

In the end, his desperation to destroy Sauron exposes his true fear of The Deceiver.
