Why Contestants Never Pass on ‘Family Feud’
For theFamily Feuduninitiated, here are the deets.
If they choose to pass, the other team gets to try clearing the board.
99.9% of the time, the family opts to play, with a .1% margin of error.
(I didn’t get out much as a child.)
Survey secrets you never knew.
It even involves math, so you know that the lad has put some serious thought into it.
But if it’s a high-scoring top answer, the reverse is true.
With that comes the possibility that the other team can’t erase the board.
Aye, but here’s the rub.
It’s still a gamble any way you look at it.
I hope you’re not looking for an answer on that because, again, math.
So why have the option at all?
