Worth it, he decides, if only to destroy the alliance.
He also reveals the major flaw in Riri’s plan.
The Watcher Breaks His Oath Again in ‘What If…?’
He turns his back, unwilling to watch her die this way another time.
What wins the day for Riri isn’t being “stronger” than Beck physically.
She does so by flying above the atmosphere and conjuring an image of the Avengers symbol.
The people may not know who did it, or what it means for them in the long run.
But in the immediate future?
