EVE HEWSON: I was so excited.
I wasnt nervous at all.
I thought it was genius.
We all love working together and being together, so we were just thrilled to come back and hang.
What do you remember about the first time you were all together for a scene?
HEWSON: We had two weeks of rehearsal beforehand, and it was during Covid.

It was time for us to spend bonding and it just felt immediate.
Its funny now to think back on us meeting that first week.
I remember sitting around in this random production office, just shooting the shit.

I was like, Wow, weve grown together so much and weve grown so close.
The new season of the Apple TV+ series improves on almost every level.
What have you learned from the experience of acting with them and spending time with them?
HEWSON: I think they’ve just made me a better person.
I look up to them all.
This is a family thats often surrounded by chaos and there definitely is more of that in Season 2.
Theyre having such a nice time.
Youre so used to everyone being so stressed.
I was like, This feels a little strange.

Were all quite gleeful and happy.
And then, the chaos kicks in and the drama, and were back in theBad Sistersthat we know.
Shooting the horse races was so fun.
The wedding was great.
The scenes of us dancing together, I love.
That just feels very natural.
What was it like to have to say goodbye to Grace this season?
How did that feel?
Did you do anything to give her a proper sendoff?
HEWSON: Funnily enough, I dont think we did because of the way our schedules worked.
She came back a few times.
There was never really a rough day, but it was definitely strange.
It was definitely bizarre.
Sharon wrote it in a way that was clever and so truthful.
When I read the script for the first time, I burst into tears.
She just nailed it.Watching people go through grief in a very honest way is healing for people.
What was it like to actually shoot the funeral?
I love that there are sad moments and funny moments, and theres even some singing thrown in.
What was your favorite moment in all of that?
HEWSON: There was a really funny moment, but it was actually behind the scenes.
For whatever reason, that didnt make it in the edit, but Fiona Shaw is such a troublemaker.
And then, shed be like, Did you read the script?
And I was like, No, I havent read it yet.
Did you read it?
Did you read it?
It was so funny.
If youre going to bring a new cast member into any show, shes a great choice.
HEWSON: Oh, my God, shes a gem of a human being.
Things are getting brutal at the bouquet toss.
How did she change the vibe and dynamic, especially with the sisters?
Shes just the perfect person to step into this season?
HEWSON: Yeah, she is.
Shes so open and curious and so intelligent.
We just loved having her there.
She was very excited to be a part of the sisterhood.
Watching her play that character was mic drop level of genius.
We all had a hard time keeping a straight face because she just made us laugh in every take.
We get a wedding, we get a funeral, and then Becka finds out shes pregnant.
How much does that pregnancy inform things for her this season?
HEWSON: I think it changes her.
Its also very true to life.
A lot of times with death, theres a pregnancy that follows, or vice versa.
It just made sense.
Now that youve done a second season, would you want to do a third season?
Would you want to see what could come next for this character and her sisters?
Have there been any conversations about continuing their story at all?
HEWSON: Not yet.
I think were all in for it, but who knows?
What if nobody watches Season 2?
