InThe Sticky, Martindale finally earns her long-deserved leading role, and she more than delivers.
Martindale portrays Ruth as the kind of no-nonsense woman who other characters often underestimate.

Yet, despite the buffoonery of those around her,Martindale brings so much depth to her role.
In contrast to that is Diamantopoulos' role as Mike.
The finale ends withan incredibly abrupt conclusion, and nothing truly feels finite.
