This was no wholesome series where lessons are learned and our protagonists come together at the end.
All they ever thought about was themselves, which made for some cringe moments with those outside their circle.

The eleventh episode, “The Alternate Side,” is no different.
The most memorable subplot goes to Kramer, who lands an acting gig in a newWoody Allenfilm.
He even gets one line: “These pretzels are making me thirsty.”

Elaine arrives at Jerry’s door with a barely conscious Owen.
The two lead the guy to Jerry’s couch, where he collapses.
Do they raise his legs?
The continuing misadventures of neurotic New York City stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his equally neurotic New York City friends.
Do they put a sponge on his forehead?
Kramer wonders if he’s a drug addict.
And honestly, Elaine was valid for hating it!
Later, it’s revealed that Owen has had a stroke.
Instead of being concerned, Elaine is upset that she was five seconds away from breaking up with him.
Now she’s stuck hand-feeding this guy in a wheelchair.
But for Jerry Seinfeld, “The Alternate Side” is his least favorite.
I felt very uncomfortable with that episode … yeah, it was weird."
It’s understandable whySeinfeldwouldn’t be a fan.
It’s also ageist.
InSeinfeld, nothing is safe from mockery, but “The Alternate Side” goes too far.
He confessed to Elaine that he was only using her for sex.
