There are many fantastic Thanksgiving sitcom episodes out there.
However, there are also some weaker holiday episodes out there.

Even some of the very best sitcoms have Thanksgiving episodes that are disappointing and even downright bad.
These are the 10 worst sitcom Thanksgiving episodes, ranked.
In fact, it contains two of the very best Christmas-themed sitcom episodes of all time.

Its Thanksgiving episode, “Thanksgiving,” is not a bad episode.
She spends the holiday at Gwen’s house, while Danny does his own thing.
While feeling hurt by Josh, Mindy runs into a former bad date, Dennis, at Gwen’s.
Its weakest Thanksgiving episode had a really great subplot, but a much weaker main plot.
The two hosted and planned for everything, but their parents messed up the holiday anyway.
Even the happy ending doesn’t make it feel wrapped up.

Its second-weakest Thanksgiving episode was its Season 9 installment, “The Platonic Permutation.”
The episode had some funny moments, but it is not very memorable as a Thanksgiving installment.
Its final Thanksgiving episode just isn’t one of them.
Lily isn’t even in the episode, which is never explained.
Jay and Phil’s plot line felt like a setback so late into the show.
However, “The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs” is a bit off-key asFriends’holiday episodes went.

Additionally, Rachel’s subplot was deeply uncomfortable, especially when rewatching it many years later.
It only did one Thanksgiving episode, and it was sadly one too many.
There were two fun subplots, but they ultimately did not save the episode.
In one, Sheldon unexpectedly bonds with Bernadette’s father over football, in a surprisingly sweet scene.
