The dawn of the modern century brought a new age for the horror genre.

But the new decade also came with its failures.

Several flops have represented the worst of the decade and remain infamous today.

Some are even enjoyed for how spectacularly terrible they are.

As he gets closer to the truth, he uncovers a chilling conspiracy that puts him in grave danger.

The film misses the entire point of being a slasher flick.

Unfortunately, 2005’sThe Fogwas a dull, CGI-heavy mess that failed to capture what made its predecessor so chilling.

It was a trailblazing cult classic thatterrified audiences with its simplicityand helped popularize the found-footage subgenre.

ThisHouse of Waxdid everything a remake shouldn’t do.

A police officer embarks on a journey to a secluded island to solve the case of a missing girl, only to find himself in the midst of an eerie and secretive community. The island’s inhabitants, with their peculiar traditions and rituals, hinder his investigation, leading to a series of bizarre and unsettling encounters. As he gets closer to the truth, he uncovers a chilling conspiracy that puts him in grave danger. The film blends suspense and horror, presenting a gripping narrative that explores themes of isolation, belief, and the harrowing depths of human nature.

It maybe poorly made, but it’s so enjoyable to get lost in its absurdity.

This lackluster remake failed tremendously to improve or expand upon anything terrifying shown in the original.

The plot revolves around ancient artifacts discovered from a long-lost civilization that trigger a series of terrifying events.

Partnering with archaeologist Aline Cedrac, Carnby faces off against otherworldly forces and dark creatures unleashed by the artifacts.

House of the Deadreally needs to be seen to be believed.
