After the group pranked Max with a fake winning lottery ticket, he set out for revenge.
Of course, this became truly over the top, with Death singing and dancing for a dead Galavant.
However, the show was at its absolute best when it got weird.

Either way, Season 1, Episode 7, “The Eternal Shriek” is wonderfully over the top.
There was also the bit where Abed almost tried to cut off Jeff’s arm.
