The dialogue is clearly the best part ofHeartbreak Ridgeand makes up for some of the more lackluster aspects.

The movie is inspired by true events, specifically the story of the film’s screenwriter,Mykola Voronin.

It starsCillian Murphyin what may possibly behis most underrated performance ever.

Still, Day-Lewis' performance and an eye for the production design make it a worthwhile effort.
