Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versehad a very good night at the Annie Awards this weekend.
The big victory forSpider-Versebodes very well for the films chances at the Oscars.
However, none of the Oscar-nominated animated films came away without at least one award.
Disney’sRalph Breaks the Internetgrabbed an Annie for animated effects, and GKIDS’Miraiwon the Annie for best independent animated feature.
The film has all the critical acclaim, and its a box office smash.
Furthermore, its not clear who would be the upset pick.
