He then realizes soberly thathe created the Road himself via his powers.

Like his mother Wanda, he can warp reality, so his powers can bring things back to life.
The song eventually becomes part of the con of luring covens to their death.

It’s unclear how, but Nicholas' longer life feels connected to the death of those witches.
It adds a more tragic edge to Agatha’s character while not excusing the terrible things she’s done.
But it turns out that Jen survived and regained her powers.
