As usual, Disneys most recent numbers hold a more conservative estimate around $160-170 million. The animated superhero sequel earned an A+ cinema score and $71.5 million from 4,410 theaters on Friday. That would push the films domestic tally past $80 million after only ten days. Tag, the new R-rated comedy from Warner Bros. is on track to come in at No. 3 for the weekend with a predicted $15 million from 3,382 theaters....

Its looking to be a fantastic weekend for PixarsIncredibles 2. Helping matters is solid reviews forIncredibles 2, and obviously the fact that its technically a superhero movie. Pixar has had an uneven history with its sequels. Thankfully,Brad BirdsIncredibles 2rises above the forgettable and the mediocre to be one of Pixars finest sequels. Both stories are endearing, and yet its Bobs story that packs more of a wallop. And yet the richer story is Mr. Incredible at home with the kids because its just more relatable. Incredible being worn away not by supervillains or a death ray, but by lack of sleep....

Its fun to watch a story about people with superpowers who like using them. Unfortunately, that joy is something that Marvels TV series often forget. When its a drag for our heroes to have powers, its also a drag to watch them. If it sounds likeCloak & Daggeris therefore action-packed, do not be fooled its most definitely not. For the most part it leads to jarring edits, half-baked plots, and quickly-forgotten side characters....
